Installation notes
Direct plug & play — no coding, no VCDS work required, identical fitment across all EA825 variants. Access the coils by removing the engine cover (8mm bolts, or Torx on some Porsche variants). Because all these engines are V8, always replace as a set of 8 — mixed-age coils cause uneven spark distribution and the ECU pulls timing to compensate, negating the performance benefit of the new units. Torque coil bolts to 8 Nm. Total install time: 30–45 minutes on Audi, slightly longer on Porsche Panamera / Cayenne due to intake plumbing.

Will this fit my RS6 / RS7 / Cayenne V8 / Urus without coding?

Do I really need all 8, or can I just replace one?
We strongly recommend replacing all 8 as a set. If one coil has failed, the others have seen identical heat and hours — they're likely close behind. Mixed-age coils cause uneven spark, and the ECU compensates by pulling timing, which loses the performance benefit of the new coils. That said, if you're in a bind and just need to get moving, one MTP-1003 will absolutely work as a temporary fix.
