The technology inside Mantis

A Mantis coil is designed to fit like the original part, but inside it is engineered for stronger spark energy, faster response and more consistent ignition performance under load.

Built around Mantis' own high-output neodymium magnetic core and precision copper windings, Mantis High Performance Coils help deliver a stronger ignition event at the spark plug - supporting cleaner combustion, smoother running and reliable firing in performance petrol engines and demanding driving.

Engineered for Stronger Spark Energy

Faster Saturation - More Energy Stored

The Mantis neodymium core reaches magnetic saturation faster than ferrite, leaving more dwell time for energy storage.

At high RPM where standard coils lose charge time, Mantis holds output constant.

Higher Secondary Current - Bigger Flame Kernel

The spark reaches more molecules.

A larger initial flame kernel means more of the air-fuel mixture ignites in the first milliseconds of combustion - before the piston starts descending.

Built for Boost - No Misfires Under Pressure

Cylinder pressure from forced induction compresses the air-fuel mixture, requiring more energy to jump the plug gap reliably.

Mantis High-Performance Coils are engineered to perform where stock coils start to struggle.

Cleaner Combustion - Lower Emissions

More complete combustion means less unburnt fuel passing into the exhaust. Meaning a more efficient, healthier engine.

Reduced hydrocarbons, lower particulate emissions, and in many cases, a catalytic converter & GPF that lasts longer.

01

Cleaner Combustion Starts with a Stronger Spark

Every combustion event begins with the spark.

A stronger, more stable ignition event helps the air-fuel mixture burn more cleanly and consistently. That can support smoother running, improved response and reduced unburnt fuel entering the exhaust system.

For performance engines, that consistency matters. Not just for peak power, but for how the engine feels every time you accelerate.

02

Designed for Tuned & Boosted Engines

A tuned engine asks more from every part of the ignition system.

Higher boost pressure, increased cylinder load and wider performance demands all make it harder for the spark to jump the plug gap cleanly and consistently. When the ignition system cannot keep up, the result is often hesitation, misfire or reduced performance as the ECU pulls timing to protect the engine.

Mantis coils help give the ignition system the reserve it needs.

03

Direct Fit. No Drama. No Changes.

Mantis coils are designed to replace the original ignition coils directly.

No splicing.
No adapters.
No software changes.
No unnecessary complications.

Simply remove the original coil, install the Mantis replacement and refit as normal.

For the best results, we recommend installing with a fresh set of quality spark plugs.

Every reason your engine deserves better.

OE ignition coils are specified down to a price point. That's fine for the standard car. And that's OK when they're new.

But if you’ve remapped, added boost, covered miles, or simply want the best for your high-performance engine, then the factory coil was never designed for any of it.

And that's where the Mantis coil technology comes in.
