Installation notes
Direct plug & play — no coding, no BimmerCode, no dealer trip. Identical fitment across every B38 / B48 variant. Pop the engine cover (pull straight up), unclip the coil connectors, 8mm bolt out, swap coils, bolt back in — 8 Nm torque. Quantity guide: Cooper (B38 3-cyl) = 3 coils; Cooper S / JCW and all BMW B48 4-cyl = 4 coils — use the individual-coil button if you need 3. Always replace as a full set — mixed-age coils cause the DME to pull timing, negating the benefit of the new units. Total install: 15–20 minutes on a Mini, similar on BMW 4-cyl.

I'm running a JCW tune / Stage 1 on my Cooper S — will these hold up?
